
Barton Gilman LLP has welcomed Sally P. McDonald as a partner in the firm’s Providence office, strengthening its litigation capabilities with a seasoned litigator known for handling complex business disputes and for her long standing leadership within Rhode Island’s legal community.

A seasoned litigator, Sally represents clients in high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts, including matters involving breach of contract, employment, real estate, construction, and trusts and estates. She has held several leadership roles throughout her career, including serving as Managing Partner and Chair of the Litigation Department at a Providence-based law firm. She also served as Managing Counsel for the Rhode Island office of a prominent Los Angeles-based firm, where she helped guide a number of high-profile matters to successful resolution.

She received a J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law and a B.A., with honors, from Trinity College.
