Jennifer Reynolds focuses her practice on family law, bringing more than a decade of experience representing clients in complex and emotionally sensitive matters. She provides strategic, client-centered counsel in divorce, child custody, alimony, modification, enforcement and adoption cases, guiding individuals and families through all stages of litigation and resolution. Her work includes analyzing high-asset marital estates, developing tailored strategies for equitable distribution, advising clients on custody and child support obligations, and advocating for clients’ best interests in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
Jennifer has extensive experience drafting motions, objections, marital settlement agreements, memoranda of law, trial memoranda, and court orders, and is skilled in negotiating settlements in challenging cases. Her litigation experience includes serving as first chair in a contested child visitation trial, successfully securing extensive visitation for her client and minor child in the Middle East, as well as second chair in multiple trials involving grandparent visitation, divorce and child custody. In 2024, Jennifer completed the American Bar Association’s week-long Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute, an intensive program focused on advanced family law trial skills.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer spent five years as a senior associate at a family law firm in Warwick, Rhode Island. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as an associate at a Newport, Rhode Island law firm, where she represented clients in divorce, custody, modification and adoption matters. She is active in the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Law Related Education programs, where she speaks to students from elementary school through high school about legal topics within family law.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been recognized for her thorough preparation, strong legal research and writing skills, and ability to craft persuasive arguments on complex issues such as jurisdiction, custody, equitable distribution and alimony. She is known for her thoughtful, pragmatic approach and her commitment to helping clients navigate difficult family law matters.
