Groves appointed to RI Council for Humanities post

PROVIDENCE (July 25, 2011) – Tim Groves was recently appointed to the Governance Committee of the Rhode Island Council for Humanities (RICH).

The Governance Committee works closely with the Council’s executive director in recruiting and evaluating board of director members. Tim will work closely with RICH’s Executive Director Mary-Kim Arnold and fellow committee members to ensure that RICH continues to attract dynamic community leaders to its board. RICH (www.rihumanities.org) is an independent affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and is the lone source of public funding for humanities projects in Rhode Island.

Groves is an experienced civil litigator focusing his practice on professional liability defense, business litigation and school law. He serves on the Executive Director’s Council of the San Miguel School in Providence.
