Gregory N. Hoffman was recently named as secretary of the Board of Directors of Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum.
Blithewold is a 33-acre summer estate on Narragansett Bay and is nationally significant in American history as one of the most fully developed and authentic examples of the Country Place Era. The property features a 45-room mansion filled with family heirlooms, and is framed by a series of gardens containing an exceptional collection of rare and unusual plants, specimen trees, and an accessible greenhouse. Blithewold’s mission is to preserve New England’s finest garden estate through excellence in horticulture and historic preservation. Blithewold hosts an active array of family-oriented events and programs throughout the year, and is an active wedding venue.
Hoffman is an associate at Barton Gilman focusing his practice on civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law and his B.A. from Juniata College. Hoffman also serves as vice president of the board of directors of the Roger Williams University School of Law Alumni Association. He was named by Super Lawyers as a Rhode Island Rising Star in 2017.
