PROVIDENCE (Dec. 8, 2014) – Frank Connor was recently quoted in an ED Legal Letter article on how prompt reporting of incidents can minimize the risks of potential medical malpractice claims against emergency department medical professionals.
Managing the risk of a liability claim depends in large part on timely reporting an incident to an insurance carrier or hospital risk manager, Connor observes in the article, published in the December 2014 issue. Equally important, notes Connor, is protecting the reporting efforts from discovery in a subsequent lawsuit.
Connor’s practice includes regularly counseling medical professionals on managing risks, and defending them against malpractice claims.
The ED Legal Letter is a monthly newsletter distributed to ER medical professionals across the country.
