Carr elected to Providence College President’s Council

PROVIDENCE (Feb. 12, 2016) – Angela L. Carr was recently invited to join the Providence College President’s Council.

The Providence College President’s Council is a leadership group, comprised of senior executives from many of Rhode Island’s most prominent employers, who serve in an advisory capacity to the College president.

Carr graduated from Providence College, cum laude, in 2001, and has been an active supporter ever since. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Providence College Providence Area Alumni Club since 2015.

Carr, a partner in the firm’s Providence office, is an experienced civil litigator, focusing her trial practice on professional liability defense, employment law, and business litigation. She regularly provides risk consulting for hospitals and practice groups. In addition to her involvement with Providence College, Carr serves on the board of directors of the Defense Counsel of Rhode Island and the Manton Avenue Project, and she recently completed the Leadership Rhode Island (Lambda II Class – 2015) community leadership program.

The Providence Business News selected Carr to its 2014 class of 40 Under Forty. She was named by Super Lawyers as a Rhode Island Rising Star in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and as a Super Lawyer in 2015.
