BOSTON (June 23, 2014) – Barton Gilman has played an instrumental role in forming the newly created Massachusetts Chapter of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
Edward D. Shoulkin is part of the Chapter’s leadership team, serving as one of its Board members and as the organization’s Secretary. Shoulkin, a partner in the firm’s Boston office, has over 20 years of experience handling a broad range of litigation matters, including business disputes, construction litigation, product liability cases, and insurance coverage matters. He devotes a considerable portion of his practice defending professionals in civil disputes and disciplinary proceedings, including accountants, real estate professionals, and health care professionals.
CLM promotes the highest standards of claims and litigation management by bringing together insurance industry professionals, corporate counsel, outside counsel, and third party vendors. The organization hosts and conducts educational programs year round, as well as networking events across the country.
The Massachusetts Chapter has scheduled its inaugural networking social for Sept. 18 at the Liberty Hotel in Boston from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The event is expected to attract claims managers, adjusters, risk managers, defense attorneys, brokers and sponsoring service providers.
